The ATB Austria Antriebstechnik Group — A-TEC’s Drive Technology Division — is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electric motors and drive systems.

The establishment of a Group Human Resources Department has laid the groundwork for uniform HR structures and group-wide personnel policies in the Drive Technology Division. The main focus of HR activities was on developing a comprehensive group-wide personnel policy and strategy.

Over the next few years the department will be concentrating on optimising organisational structures, implementing management by objectives systems including performance based pay, and expanding the management development effort. It also plans to boost other staff development activities, and improve the division’s human resources information, planning and management systems.
