2nd Analysts' Day

After the 1st Capital Market Day of the Montanwerke Brixlegg AG had already found a great echo last year, the Management of A-TEC Industries AG decided to invite this time the analysts to Mönchengladbach, where parts of the Division of Propulsion Technology and Machine Tools Engineering are located.

While Dörries Scharmann Technologie GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers in the field of special machine tools, Schorch Elektrische Maschinen und Antriebe GmbH has established their reputation worldwide in the construction of large project engines.

This year, 5 analysts and 5 investors as well as capital market experts met for a comprehensive visit of both companies. Beside the detailed company presentations, the invited guests had the opportunity to visit the production sites on the spot, thereby getting a profound insight into the operative business of each company.

1st Analysts’ day

On 6 June 2008 five analysts visited Montanwerke Brixlegg in Tyrol to find out about the copper production operations there at first hand. The production process from the smelter through to the electrolysis plant and foundry was explained to them during a works tour. Afterwards presentations were given by A-TEC Industries CFO Christian Schrötter and the Montanwerke Brixlegg management.

The event was rounded off by an afternoon visit to the “mother of all mines” — the silver mine in nearby Schwaz that was the largest in the world in the Middle Ages.
